Welcome To Our Ranch

The Martens Twisted Ranch was founded in 2019 after the Martens moved to Wiggins, Colorado. Matt and Virginia always had a dream to get back to their roots and raise their two kids Tucker and Hadley in the country, around animals. So, they moved their young family and started building their dream ranch from the ground up. While they both agreed that they wanted to raise cattle, Matt dreamed of longhorns and Virginia thought it was crazy. But after some convincing and a trip to Texas in the summer of 2020 to pick up their first two Registered Texas Longhorns she was hooked. Since then, they have strived to learn as much as possible, connect with breeders and make adjustments to create their own line of gentle and show quality cattle. After a few short years, their two kids, Tucker and Hadley are now also working on building their own herds with money that they have earned from raising goats and chickens. The Martens family believes that there is always an opportunity to learn and grow and will continue to do so while they raise and show their Registered Texas Longhorns and a collection of other animals.
